Wet & Dry

How good a swimmer do I need to be

You don’t need to be a great swimmer, you just need to be comfortable in the water. We often do lots of wading and short sharp swims.

So it’s easy to tailor the sessions while your swimming improves. All the same, we bring surfboards as well for added confidence if needed.

People love this session every year and it is uplifting but at the same time we know it can be off-putting if you are starting out. It’s our job to look after you and make you feel part of the team.

So in every session we will set the standard for our fittest clients and provide the all the care and attention for those that need it most.

All we ask is: give yourself time and space to improve your fitness.

Listen to your trainer, take the rest you need and give your best effort in each activity. You trainer will often modify each fitness task to account for your starting level or any injury concerns.

When you add the variables of sand and sea you open another doorway to fitness breakthroughs and high level fitness.

Typically you start with a soft sand run. Then short swims and bodyweight exercises on the beach before tougher swimming sequences and drills with weights, medicine balls, runs and battle ropes.

There are so many variables that the fitness challenges grow throughout. It is fantastic. Come and try it.
