SWIM SQUAD

You don’t need to be a great swimmer, you just need to be comfortable swimming with your head in the water.

Lots of the planning in all our training comes from swimming training so we will set the standard in each set for the fittest and best swimmers and change the requirements as needed for each of our swimmers.

The new exercise environment makes it tough so you also have to be happy to ask for a rest if you feel you need or, more importantly, take one if you are asked to.

It’s our job to look after you and make you feel part of the team.

So in every session we will set the standard for our fittest clients and provide the all the care and attention for those that need it most.

All we ask is: give yourself time and space to improve your swimming. The more you swim the better you’ll get!

This is a session aimed at improving your fitness, confidence and ability in the water.

We focus on drills to improve your stroke and conditioning work against the clock with both sprint sets and longer work.

This is not a learn to swim class but we have seen people make dramatic improvements in their swimming from joining our summer squads and we will do a lot of work on your stroke. It can open up a whole new sphere of exercise and change your relationship with the water.

The best swimmers in the Squad may swim 2.5km in the session. Others will start with a kilometre and work towards improving with every session.
